SWCO have re-registered  based on new  proclamation 1113/2011 for Civil society

organization following the reform that took place a year ago.

SWCO have started partnership with Heal and Teach Foundation, Malta in 2017 and supported over 100 children with various types of disability .  We  bring children from rural areas who

can not get to places where there is services for children with disability. we mainly target hard to reach children and families.

Launched pilot project  entitled stimulating children with educational toy making with locally available materials together with toymakers guide UK in kafa zone Addiya woreda.  We have made 150 booklet in English and kafinoonoo language. We have made some toys together with IAN from Toy makers guide UK. We hope to continue the project to other part of the zone and later to the country  based on funding availabitlity. 

Supported 8 students to go to college by the year 2016 in night program by providing them school fee and maintenance  with support we received from founders and volunteers.

Provided 500 exercise books and 1000 pens for 50 needy girls and boys  to two selected schools in Kafa zone with support received from Dr. Ruth Lawley  and Derebew Ashebir as of May,2016 .
